Just got my new Spirit R!......
Here are a couple of pics of my 2002 Spirit R Type "A"
The 1995 and 2002 don't see the light of day in the winter (although get started up regularly).
It's pretty weird trying to pay a toll on 294 (tri-state) with the RHD one, for sure...
And before anyone says anything, it is registered AND street legal.

The plastic obviously is removed... taken just prior to shipping from Japan.
This is a lousy picture of the car, taken on my cell phone's camera.. at night.
If anyone wants to see anymore, I'll take some more with a digital camera.

Did you buy it registered? I would like to know how the newer FD's get into the US/Canada.
Getting registered/tagged anymore is not as difficult as getting it across the border in the first place. Some states are real hard to grey market cars, others don't care much at all.
IIRC, he got his from an importer in Florida who did all kinds of dishonest crap including joyride and trash the car. It's safe to assume the importation paperwork wasn't any cleaner or more honest, but the car got thru and it's in the past now.
