idea to prevent heat soak

I was reading the sport compact car may2002 issue and I saw there project car
The focus rally car had over heating problems so they installed it ,I thought it would be a good idea to use this cause in Puerto Rico stop and go traffic is normal traffic and it is really hot;Anyone considered this for an FD to prevent heat soak on a hot day.

Intercooler, man - we all have to start somewhere.

I'd need a freakin' firehose to cool mine down!

There are various types of sprayers for the intercooler... And most have been debated here, but I'm not sure how much SOLID research has been done, or how much data has been aquired.... Didn't someone just pop a motor using a Nitrous (NAWS) sprayer??
