94 mb 15k?
i am still looking for a good fd around here. i really like white but this kid is selling a montego blue one. it has 48k on the odo and looks really clean. pretty much all stock. tan leather seats and tan carpet. the seats have normal wear. it has the bose system and no wing. i think that makes it a touring? the body is decent except for a small dent by the gas cap door where someone hit him in a parking lot. is it worth the 15k he wants? i would rather give him 10 but with such low milage... i dunno. what do you guys think?

If everything else with the car is sorted out, that's a fairly good deal. Getting the dent taken out shouldn't cost very much, but I'd at least try to haggle him down a bit using that as an arguing point.

Is it a fresh motor or original? You need to check out how well it's running/turbos etc. If everything looks good a near stock 48k 94' is worth 15,000.

its original motor i believe. and it pulls but i dont think the primary turbo is working right. there is no transition feeling and you dont get that "push you in the seat" feeling till late in the game.. like 5500-6000. like it just slowly builds to that point.

$15k ain't bad IF the motor is OK. $10k is not realistic unless the motor is blown or the body is particularly bad. Given what you said about the lack of power, I suspect there are some problems. Could be something simple and cheap or could be expensive.
Find a rotary specialist in the regional forums (or a knowledgable local rotary owner) to look the car over, do a compression test and find out why the power situation is off.
Don't be in a hurry to buy an FD either. Wait for the right one.

Does the car currently have a boost gauge? If not, hook up a temporary boost gauge and see what the boost pattern is,check the idle/vacuum,make sure everything looks as it should..And if you don't know what it should look like, find a local knowledgeable rotary owner and see if they can help you out.
