Water temp

Guys a friend of mine is busy doing a v10 swap into his fd and wants to know what the colours of the water temp wires are as standard. From the sensor in the filler neck to the sender and then from the sender to the gauge cluster. If anyone knows any help would be appreciated

V10 swap in an FD sounds like a really bad idea and I'm not going to help spoon-feed them the actual wire colors if they can't manage to find the wiring diagram themselves. The RX7 wiring diagram is pretty nice compared to other manufacturers. There are some introduction pages explaining what the wire color codes (like 'L/G') mean, and they did a decent job of showing related circuits on the same page. If you search around you can find PDF copies online, there might even be a link from the 3rd Gen FAQ thread.

If he can't figure this out on a car with so much information available, his swap is doomed.

I didn't join this forum for the comedy, but I seem to find it on every other thread
