Lost my water temp guage

Driving around yesterday in my 82 I noticed that my water temperature guage wasn't reading, the needle is just dead at the bottom tick. My Haltech still reads the water temp correctly, so I know the sensor is working OK and all the other guages are working fine, so it's not the dash board. Has anyone else had the water temp guage die?

The Bullet Connector ie Water Temp Sensor wire under the Oil Pedestal can get gunked up with Oil.
Pull it off and clean it up with Electric Cleaner or WD40 and Re-Connect it. You should be good to go.
Or it could just be loose.
Pull it anyhow to clean it up.
