LOL,

I wish I could say the same. Not much has changed for me as I am not one of those that "needs" to be out and about. My work got interrupted for about 3 weeks. Other than that we are setting records.
In those 3 weeks I probably saved more than I make on home renovations.... But I am still trying to find my full wallet.
It's beIt's interesting ride so far. I have some neighbors that acted as if they would lose their **** after just 1 week of being isolated... kind of scary really.

I don't go out much before the pandemic, so nothing really change for me. Only down side is we can't take any trip outside of the US, but there are plenty of new things to do with family, and I'm sure we all have garage full of parts that we never have time to install right?

Nothing has changed for me. I still get up and go to work. The only thing that has changed is we can't visit our US office or Mexico office for work. We haven't been down there now for over 2yrs. I think as soon as the bans start to lift, we'll have to fly down there and survey the land.

In the meantime, the only thing that's kept me busy is doing maintenance on my vehicles and my families vehicles. Took up some R/C hobbies as well...

I'm looking forward to having things open up everywhere.

I just got my FD working again this week, so I can't wait to do a bit of driving this weekend (for the first time since last November!) and get some new gas into the tank.

Something was wrong with it?

Since I don’t have working a/c in the FD just yet, I don’t think I’ll be taking the car out this weekend. Supposed to get up to 36C. In a car that’s basically an oven once you start to get up to temps, I don’t think it’ll be good for either car or driver.

I too hope everything opens up again as well. Miss all the get togethers.

The battery died and there was something wrong with the hood release. All good now – just waiting for new headlight motors.

The car was pretty hot even on a 21 degree (70 F) day, so I'm glad my A/C is working fine.

I'd love to have a 7s Day around here and I doubt the 80s Oblivion III car show can happen again this fall on short notice.

But since you claim to be more than "half educated" (whatever that is) but are asking me for examples. Why don't you provide your own. Oh right, you can't because you are the typical biased person with no data that regurgitates the side of the media you most align with. Not everything boils down to red vs blue states, and most states have populations of both, you must just watch too much cable news.

I agree with the others. Don't bring politics into this thread. It's 100% pointless. But go ahead and make another generalized point with no data to support it like I know you will.
I see, can't answer the basic question I posed. But you may as well baselessly rant while you admonish others for doing what you do.

To the point of what constitutes a "nice" FD : condition 2 - or higher, I'd say. Anything less is average, and therefore, not nice.

The left creates that environment. They are the authoritarians whom hold the attitude "My way!". It's doubly ironic and comical then that their way has never been correct. Two administrations ago, under a guy named Hussein was a Secretary of Energy that said he'd like to see $8/gallon gas. That is one of infinite examples of leftism = utter failure.

Is that center control console wrapped in some kind of faux leather?

Now that is just hideous. Almost as bad as the one with faux wood grain.

good one for a couple of examples. it is an original yellow car, however its probably been repainted, and first question is why? accident?
Car was built 7/01/1992 and sold new in Texas (my dealer decoder book is at work), engine was replaced under warranty.

pics, green arrows show that it has the little tape covers on the body, which is good, but missing on the fenders, have they been replaced? or just moved?
pic 2, the rocker seam on a light colored 93-94 car should be black, this one is not, again why.
pic 3, you can just make out the undercoating line, and it looks nice, did the whole car get painted or just parts of it?

none of this stuff is very serious, or surprising even. it helps a lot to know what you're getting into

Definitely has been painted which is a good thing if it the job was done well.

I don't see this selling for much over 30k though. Too many miles and that wrapped interior might not be for everyone.

Agree it is not in the best condition, that's why it would be interesting to see what it can fetch for.

Wow - $38k for a 123k-mile fairly stock BB '93. Exterior looks decent (inasmuch as it is possible to judge accurately from pictures) as does interior (if a little tired, and not even cleaned - how hard is it to detail a car before selling?).

Funny enough, I had my hood release cable issue about 3-4yrs ago. The damn cable head came out of its cradle. No idea how that happened. I’ve secured it extra tight since then.

21C is pretty much ideal for my car. You still running stock twins? If you do, anytime you run the car the thing is always hot. Lol. A big benefit of running single turbo. Relying on just the fans for air is actually possible when you run a single turbo.

yep, oblivion is definitely out. Everything will be shutdown for this year again.. just gotta enjoy cruising.

This confirms it. Almost 200k km’s on the clock and it still sold for 38g’sUS. I can only imagine what something with factory upgraded parts would garner..

After the fees the buyer pays, that's right at $40,000 for a 100k+ mile FD that has long been considered, shall we say, not at the top of the ladder as far as year and trim. Damn. It is a Brave New World, Gentlemen

I was truly surprised by that number. Brave new world indeed.
