Gordon and to slow thanks for the nice comments, still lots of work left to go.
phrost the hardest part of the re intake swap was the throttle body since i wanted to keep the idle control valve, i got the rotary works cosmo tb, you will have to modify the throttle cable and the compression elbow might have clearance issues if you are using a strut bar since the re intake is a little taller than the rew intake.

Here's a CYM build that IRP recently completed. GT35R, Stage 3 streetport, RA Super Seals, GZ LIM, fuel system, water/meth injection etc etc. Goal is a 450 rwhp street car
Ruler_Mark... why havn't you made a build thread... i'm against ls swaps.. but i'm also an enthusiast and can appreciate the work involved in the build.. MAKE A BUILD THREAD P.s... pull out the grinder and cut that lip off the back of the firewall... hahaha
Went to the mechanics shop yesterday and got to start it up and drive it around the lot a little. It has been down for 2 years after the engine went out. Converted to single with the rebuild. This is a pic he sent me a few weeks ago, more work has been done since.
I've noticed that a lot of you have removed the "underhood" fiberglass protector thingy.
Has any one noticed any ill affects after removing it? Such as paint fading?
Thanks
Mike
