to those that premix

I have started to use premix. I am wondering what you use to pour it in the tank. I use a funnel and it gets messy. Does someone know of the perfect container that reaches far enough into the tank and has a lid that stays on? I would like to have "doses" of premix that my wife can deal with. She loves the car, but hates the fact that I took off the omp.
thanx

STP bottles or other fuel injector cleaner type bottles.

I have 2 8oz bottles & a 12oz. I have a funnel in a plastic bag that I keep with them in one of the storage compartments, and the gallon of 2-stroke oil lives behind the passenger's seat.

How do you remove the OMP from an S4? I looked around but couldn't find good instructions and possibly a place where I could buy a blockoff plate. Pictures would rock too.

S4's are easy to convert since it is NOT ECU controlled.
If you want it cleanly done, remove the UIM ,remove the oil injectors and plug it with a bolt 10mmx 1.25?? (not sure on that..it's been awhile). For the block off plate, just buy a sheetmetal and cut it using the OMP as guide.

you can buy a blockoff from K2RD, and the OMP is on the left side of the engine if you're facing the car. Buy some bolts that are the same size as the injectors, and you'll be set.

With all of the people that premix, the best idea is a funnel? Come on, what do you use to put your premix in your tank? As far as the OMP blockoff plate, just make one out of aluminum. I put on s5 intake and fuel rails in the process. Runs great.

STP bottles or other fuel injector bottles... Plus, then I don't get weird looks at the gas station. I'm working on finding something as effective that *will* get weird looks.

I carry a thin ballpoint pen to open the flap and use a small soft drink bottle to input the oil.

Ok guys here's an idea how about gear oil containers. they have that nice ribbed cone at the top so you can just attach a hose to it and they usually do have oz. marks on the sides.

A whole thread dedicated to how you pour premix? Damn, I didn't know it was such a problem. Why not just use a gear oil spout of any gear oil bottle out there as mentioned above?

I buy 500 mL bottles of premix and just throw the bottle out after pouring it in. I use a blue "gas tank funnel". They are $2.97 canadian at Walmart and they work exactly as they are designed to. The actualy conular top is cat at an angle so that when inserted into a gas tank at an angle, no extra fluid pours onto the ground.

A normal funnel for adding oil to the each does not work very well for adding premix.

I just carefully pour it in, making sure not spill any. I don't use anything to open the flap, don't use any funnels and haven't had any problems. If you take your time and you're careful you won't have a problem.

yo guys,

i got this little funnel type thing from autozone. yeah yeah, you may think this is just a regular ole funnel... but the top of it actually has threads that let an OIL BOTTLE SCREW INTO IT, then it has a little "on/off" thing that you rotate to start or stop the flow. i just buy the 20oz walmart "supertech" premix bottles (5 or 6 of them every tiem i stop by walmart)

so when i get to the gas station, i get my 20oz premix bottle out (they kinda look like little motor oil bottles) i get my oilbottles-screw-into funnel out, screw the bottle in, and let a rip.

thats what I'm talkin 'bout jacob!!, thank you. As far as the gear oil pump, Dont wanna lug around a gallon because it has marks. I don't have a problem using a stupid funnel, but since this is my wifes car......just looking for an easier way for her to do it. My car still has the MOP. She won't drive it because it is too loud.
thanx

yeah the little funnel has a clear tube and it actually has a cap at the end. i just srew the oil onto the funnel, take out the cap, stick the hose in the gas tank (its about a 2 foot hose) and rotate it to "on" so it all pours in.
