there is no step by step guide. you must use general mechanical knowledge to do this. anything that is somewhat technical has been covered somewhere on here. use the damn search button and find it!

all you newbs come in here and ask questions that have been answered to death and expect someone to just do it for you or something. you are no different than anyone else, so why should you get any special treatment? to own a car such as an RX7 you must be able to do things for yourself. no one here will spoon feed you. and if you dont learn to do things for yourself 1 of 2 things will happen:

A. You ask stupid questions like so, and will be flamed and ridiculed for not doing it on your own and wasting everyones time.
B. You will spend thousands of dollars having simple things done for you that you could do on your own if you just put a little effort into it.

Now go, make yourself a useful member of society and do something for yourself!

Lighten up blackball. Pointing him to the archive section would have taken you 10x less time.

S5 TII conversion thread from the archive:

blackball7 you act like you were never new to this forum yourself!

t334418l3 1 - Is your swap motor & tranny or just motor? If your going to use your N/A tranny then you would have to put the fly wheel from your N/A on the TII motor. Just let us have some more infor of what you have & want to do!

No, I do not act like I was never new to the forum. I am all for helping other people out, and in the time that I have been here I have done so on multiple occasions. But, people like him just want to have their hand held the entire way. Sure, I asked some really dumb questions when I was first on here, but I was put in my place and I now know better. EVERYONE needs to be put in their place at some point or another, and his time was now. The only reason I told him off like that is because of:

He obviously did not try very hard in finding any information, because if he would have searched/looked around the forum first, he would not be wasting everyone's time with this post. Like someone already said, there is stuff in the archive for 2nd Gens.

It is not that hard to find that stuff on here. If you want to "hold his hand while crossing the street" then fine, go ahead. It is people like him that give the 2nd Gen. Rx7 a bad name.

+1 but don't forget about your gear box too and also this forum is not about "putting someone in their place." But you should look around here for some good infor don't give up!

thanks to everyone who helped

it did infact REALLY help, so thanks again

and people interested in trying to get a 2nd gen running dont give the 2nd gen a bad name

its the few ******** out there who think they are godlike because they have some information that someone else is looking for, and instead of being helpful, or kind, they act like complete dicks, over a forum none the less.

thanks again everyone

Don't forget the flywheel, transmission/drivetrain variables, as well as a there's a few 'small' things that need to be done to your S5 N/A Harness. You're also going to need a TurboII throttle cable among other things.

Edit - There's a thread on here by somebody who swapped their S5 N/A to a TurboII, it has a pretty decent step by step in it too. I can't find it right now, but search around in the archives.

Blackball, don't be an arrogant dipshit, you've asked similar questions before, let alone the fact that you haven't even been here a year.

dude, im in the same boat as you. i got a s5 jdm t2 motor for my s4. came with the ecu and engine harness. i cant figure out all the hoses i need, i been to countless parts stores and they only have the upper and lower rad hoses and heater hose. if anyones got a parts list or something along those lines. another huge problem i ran into is that the front harnesses are different. sorry if i stole your thread.
