Well, I think it would be useful on a track car where your trying to save as much weight as possible, but don't want ALL the noise of a strait pipe all the time....otherwise I don't see much of a reason to go with one, unless you like the look or something

You can tune the backpreasure/noise. I have noticed a difference when using different amounts of disks. I got them for the adjustability and beacause they are not that big.

I have -2.0 degrees on all four corners. The SuperTraps have been on there for about a year and the packing seems to handle the heat and I like the sound. It might have been my car he saw but, I have heard of someone else with SuperTraps on an RX7 before. I really did not want a pair if those "FART CANS" on the back.

WOW.. the packing may be taking the heat.. but look what the heat did to the chrome on those endplates......

I got a set of 2.5" supertrapp's months ago........still need to have them installed.
I'm running a 3" Corksport down pipe and mid pipe.
I would like to hear a sound clip also......maybe that would motivate me to install them.
