Well, I think it would be useful on a track car where your trying to save as much weight as possible, but don't want ALL the noise of a strait pipe all the time....otherwise I don't see much of a reason to go with one, unless you like the look or something

if you dont want it loud you just take some plates out and its not loud anymore, but then its restrictive. i would like one for the adjustability

You can tune the backpreasure/noise. I have noticed a difference when using different amounts of disks. I got them for the adjustability and beacause they are not that big.

I have -2.0 degrees on all four corners. The SuperTraps have been on there for about a year and the packing seems to handle the heat and I like the sound. It might have been my car he saw but, I have heard of someone else with SuperTraps on an RX7 before. I really did not want a pair if those "FART CANS" on the back.

I got a set of 2.5" supertrapp's months ago........still need to have them installed.
I'm running a 3" Corksport down pipe and mid pipe.

I would like to hear a sound clip also......maybe that would motivate me to install them.

Sorry guys, you may have to wait a few weeks. Karack is rebuilding my engine and he may have already pulled the engine. The endplates are supposed to turn a golden color.

the housings, plates and end caps are stainless steel, its normal for them to turn gold in color.
