SSB lines leaking (teflon??)

SSB lines leaking (teflon??)

my SSB lines are leaking from where they connect to the inner wheel well to the main brake line. its leaking from the threads... could i use teflon on these? or do i have the order new lines from mazdatrix.com? thanks

Did you just install them? My bet is that you might not have secured them properly.

dont use teflon they do not need it at all. check the threads or bent or miss mounted lines like stated in the last post.

front 2 lines are leaking from where the main brake line connects to the SSB line they are not leaking however from the SSB line to the Hard line to caliper. i tightend the fittings all the same

I have no idea what you're talking about. Is it leaking from a flare nut fitting? From the teflon hose? Pictures???

I just installed mine last week and the flare on the hard line had gotten an edge on it and was not sealing. I wet sanded it a bit with 220 grit then finer and it works well on the new line.

its leaking out the flare nut.. where you connect the stainless steel brake line to the main brake line off the wheel well it seeps out the threads so the flare could be messed up to not mate correctly with the other end?

i just looked and the SSB from mazda trix looks faulty.. the hard line has a flared end where it connects to the SSB line.. well the SSB is tapered to match but is messed up i looked at the other end that didnt leak and its all smooth so eithe ri messed up the line somehow on instalition or it was already messed up
