Smoke on accelaration.
Car: 10AE
History: Had the engine rebuilt about a year and a hallf ago and the "mechanic" couldnt get it running. clamed there was perfect compression on both rotors, found out this week i have 90psi on rear 100psi on front. Not bad but not perfect. It also has a mild streetport. Currently stock ecu, stock fuel set up, full 3" exhaust, s5 turbo.
Problem: car runs and idles fine. At start up there is no smoke, air/fuel in in the 11-12.7 ratio, and has a strong rythmic idle.
However as soon as you step on the gas o drive in any gear, blue smoke begins to pour out the tail pipe. ALSO the car begins to lean out upward to the 15-17.5 air/fuel mix.
My guess: i would be lucky if it was the turbo, but i feel like its a poorly exacuted rebuild. maybe the oil seals were not replaced properly? Its funny because the reason i had it rebuilt in the first place was because of te smoke. $3k+ later its still smoking like nothing ever happened...
If this doesnt get resolved, i will be letting go of this one... 3 years in and upward to $8k spent trying to resolve it, and it has never brought me a single good day. I have yet to be happy with this car.
Please tell me what you guys think. I wont have any tangible news until after the holiday. Thanks everyone.

I believe Im working with 20w50
and I have tried using 3 different turbos since the initial start up (pre rebuild) The smoke varies in amount, but all of them virtually show the same results. Smoke everywhere...
Note: I am running premix, and no emissions.

try pulling the exhaust off the downpipe and take it for a moderate drive without boost. your problem could be oil/coolant accumulation in the exhaust system burning off.
i've had some cars with such bad oil issues that filled the exhaust so badly with oil that everything past the downpipe had to be scrapped. same symptoms you gave also, if you start the car and let it idle til warm virtually nothing, once warm and then driven the smoke screen was like a forest fire behind the car.
faulty oil control rings will usually result in a cloud of smoke starting the car when cold, subside somewhat until warm only to return again when hot and usually either at ALL RPMs or near redline upon deceleration.
i'm betting after a few turbos and a new engine that it is oil fouled exhaust, although some wear patterns on the irons will yield the same results you described and will never cure itself without replacing the oil seals and irons.

Man I hope your right about the exhaust idea. Ill run it past my guys working on it and see whats up after the labor day weekend.
Here is a quick vid of the car at idle, no smoke, good compression.
