Lesse, they have a coupling clamped to an aluminum foil drier duct, which in itself would never seal cause it crushes pretty easily...&nbsp Boy, that AFM must be happy...

Rather than worry about forced induction you should get an aftermarket camshaft and high compression pistons.
On Grand Turismo you can buy that kind of stuff for RX-7s. Just get an NA tune up stage 3.

:o)

Just kidding. No hard feelings I hope.

don't want that
AND it'd be moist air, with all that water in it.. not good.

No seriously, it probably wouldn't create any BOOST, but I suppose it could possibly get you closer to zero manifold pressure instead of vacuum

B/c it is avoiding common sense.
I question myself on ideas like that: Why hasn't someone thought of this before? There is a reason that Turbo units exist. If we could get away with that stuff, don't yoyu think we would do it?

And come on, the entire idea is ludicrous and should be made fun of. If he has any sense of humour about himself, he can hack it and see the humour in a very stupid idea.

Come on, if it were that easy, would anyone spend $5K on a turbo kit? Its freaking common sense.

I doubt this particular idea would work, but some great things have been created by people with stupid sounding ideas. Like: "Hey, dude, lets try spraying some of this laughing gas stuff into the intake stream." "Yeah man, that would be awesome." Most of you would be laughing at them until they left you feeling like you were standing still.

That, or they did some chemistry. Not everyone just goes out and tries something stupid. They follow the sciences involved, do lab testing, and then test things out in cars.

I bet you'd be a great candidate for testing drugs. "We dunno what's in this needle, we just kinda poured stuff together, and we just wanted to see what it does to you."

Not every invention happens at random. Most, in fact, are well thought out.

just thought i would explain another reason why this wouldn't work. you would be pushing the same amount of air at 1000 rpms as you would at 7000. not that easy..
