In my very best Emily Litella; "Oh, that's very different. Never mind."

A Gilda Radner reference elevates any thread, so thanks.

That reference made a slight whistling noise as it went over my head. I had to look it up.

Why, thank you.

I knew that there was a rich history and a valuable lesson to be learned here, so no excuse not to look it up. I do remember my dad talking about her on SNL all those years ago. He was a huge fan.

I like to think of this thread as a safe space for the elderly.

As long as the youngsters are welcome, I'll be swinging by. I guess I'm not that young, but I'm rapidly approaching the 30 y/o wall.

Also, I stumbled upon one of your older threads. Thanks for taking good pictures. Now I know where that whatchamacallit goes that attaches to the doohickey.

Everyone here seems like a youngster to me and I don't think AARP has embraced the rotary life, so I can't be picky about participation.
Besides, given that this thread is basically about nothing, the bar for entry is set very low.

My photographic skills have long been underappreciated.
Some of my shots make Sprocket look presentable, which I can assure you, takes James Cameron level CGI to achieve.

It doesn't matter. I was just toying. No, I am jealous of ACR. Oh, to be 30 again...

My ex wife was pregnant with my now 20 yr old son...

Aaw, pshaw...50?
Such an awkward age.

Survive into your sixties and life gets a lot easier.
You morph from "obnoxiously weird" to "charmingly eccentric" simply by growing some grey hair and
yelling at clouds.

Yeah, 30......

I'll come clean. I'm 27, but I at least am married with a house and a career. 10+ years in the automotive field and I'm considering teaching once I get to 30ish.

BTW, clokker. My parents are in their 50's and are deep in the obnoxiously weird phase. I do hope they grow out of it. My dad has some of the gray hairs, but has not taken to yelling at clouds yet.

My father in law, on the other hand does yell at clouds, the TV, and everyone else in his life.

And here I thought legal weed was going to calm him down.

OK, I lost that bet but clokker, no waiting for the gray hair. It turned gray when I was still in my 30's and now it's falling out. I blame on the divorce, or being married, or both. Either appropriate for me.

I have a question about oldness. My beard is turning gray, and when I catch the little ***** I pluck them out. The thing is, Pluck a regular hair and it stings but whatever, pull one of those out and GOD. The gray hairs take root like a invasive weed!

The hairs on my head can turn any color they want, as long as they don't turn loose.

My wife teases me because I have a few gray hairs coming in.

Telling her that they weren't there before I met her is apparently the wrong answer.

It may not be, but that doesn't stop me from telling my wife the same thing
