I bought a 12 ton floor press at the local Ace hardware store for less money than that. If you have those traveling tool sales come around, it's about the same thing.

The bench top on limits a lot of what you can fit into the press itself.

If you have never installed a rotor bearing or any bearing at all. you might want to practice on a junk rotor. Its pretty simple, but if you dont have the right size adapter it will almost be impossible to do. You have to align the notch of the bearing to the rotor and you have to place the bearing in straight. You also need something to support the rotor without damaging the side of the rotor.

Find a local machine shop and give them $10 to borrow the press for few minutes.

Well I just bought a 12 Ton press. Pressed out the old bearings last night. They came out with no problems. Going to put the new ones in some dry ice tonight and will press them in the morning..

Post some pics of the process. Not many here have done that proceedure and I for one would like to see a write up on it to avoid the usual pitfalls.
