Do I Need new Stationary Gear Bearings?

I heard seeing the copper color on the bearings is not a good thing. Would you suggest I have these replaced? These came out of a GSL-SE with 170k and I am in the middle of rebuilding. Also what have you guys paid to have them pressed in?

Thanks!

That looks okay to me. When the bearing material is rolled into shape that's where the seam is, you should be able to see a little zig-zag in there.

A worn bearing usually has big copper blotches that extend from an edge that goes towards the center.

Ya those look fine. They still have plenty of life left. Copper showing at the seams like that is fine. If it's uneven or has abnormal wear patterns with the copper showing to be concerned about, and I didn't see any of that in those pics.
