on reted site they show the 89 wastegate with the flapper over the holes .....are they two holes ? and how much can the holes be ported ?

The problem trying to port:
The actuator arm on the Waste gate flapper door hits against the botoom of the housing. I dunno how you should get it off, but it can be bent or welded easily, I know

These holes can be ported to the edge of the flapper doors if required.

This is not my turbo, but instead a spare one I dissassembled in my basement.
Mine is ported and on my car. I will port this one and take webcam pics IYW.

 

so could you port between the doors? like the pics shown in red? i dont have a rx7 so I cant see what the actual wastegate looks like other than pics but am absorbing all i can.
