No Spark, read.

First, I checked the obvious. Plug wires connected properly, coils bolted down securely. Checked resistance of leading coil. Checked resistance of trailing coils. Now, I don't know why I'm not getting spark...But there are 2 little cylindrical connectors coming of the harness that plugs into each coil that arent connected to anything...the black one off the leading coil sends power..
The white one on the trailing coil we didn't test but its the same type of connector and its also disconnected...what do they do? Here's pictures.

Theres a picture of the black one on my buddy's fingers.

Theres the white one over the brake booster

Now, what are those things, why does the black one supply power...and I've checked the coils and crank angle sensor and they check out.

Coil Resistances
L: 0.5 ohms T1: 0.6 T2: 0.7 or 0.8 ohms. Haynes Manual says below 1 ohm is acceptable.
Crank Angle Sensor Resistances:
G1 and G2 (left ones): 149.8 ohms N1 and N2 (right ones) 150 ohms

Why am I not getting any spark, what should I check next?

You found the diagnostic connectors for the coils, but your pictures are rather small.

They should have A/C voltage on them when the car is running, and will have either 12 volts or nothing on them when the car's ignition is on, but the engine is not running.

What makes you think you are not getting spark?

Well first we did a spark test...my dad grounded the plug off somewhere while I cranked and he said there was no spark. So I checked all the stuff the haynes manual said to and It's all within factory spec. I don't know, maybe he didn't have it grounded right...I mean everything checks out so I should have spark. My buddy took my test light, grounded it on the neg terminal and stuck it down the plug wire while I cranked and he said they're was nothing. I don't know, maybe the igniters are gone? **** I have no idea, I'm only learning everything about a rotary.

HE DID WHAT WITH THE TEST LIGHT?

If he did that with a conventional test light (one with a bulb in it) he would have smoked either the igniter or the ECU coil driver.

Never use a test light on a car. Did he use the test light on the diagnostic plugs too? If he did; he let the Genie out.

And this is not a rotary issue. All cars made in the last 15-20 years use a simular coil and ignitor set up.

So. Did you get your meter out and put the key to ON, and then check the small, white, two socket plug at the Lead coil assy for voltage on the BLACK/YELLOW wire in that small, white, two socket connector? No voltage? Check the ENGINE fuse to see if it's blown or not.

I checked the 2 socket plug that supplys voltage to the coil, and it does have voltage.
