hey buddy, unplug the afm from the car. if it still doesnt start, then your fine. but i would check the afm aswell.
same ordeal. fuel, but no spark at all. the i simply unplugged it, and forgot to plug it in, and it started, idoled, then died. man i was happy as ****.

You need to go to your LEAD coil assy and pull the small, two wire plug off and check for 12v on the black/yellow wire. Forget the other wire, just the black/yellow wire. NO volts? You should have already checked the 40 amp fuse mentioned in the above post and the engine fuse....so go to your Main Relay anc check for 12v on the black/green wire.
IF you had 12v on the black/yellow wire when you checked earlier......then you should have spark and fuel both. Since you say you don't, go to the boost sensor and pull the plug off and check for 5volts on the brown/red wire. No volts? Check for power at the ECU on the samll plug. Pin 3I

When you crank the engine, if you STARE at the tach, does the needle move the slightest bit? If it does, then you have spark and don't know it.
Note: The LEAD plugs both at the same time have to access to a ground. IF you pull both lead plugs off and just hold one near ground....that is not sufficient. Both have to be near a ground source.
If you truly don't believe you have spark..try this...hold one of the lead plug wires at the point where it touches the sparkplug. Put your other hand on the chassis. Have someone turn the engine over. IF you did not feel a tingle...then I guess you don't have spark.
The idea behind checking the brown/red wire on the pressure sensor is to determine if the ECU has the ability to make spark. To see if its 5v reference voltage device is working or not. No 5v there........no sparky.

ha ha, you're just a comedy of errors j/k...check the AFM plug first, and all the other plugs you've touched in the last week, since you seem to have a propensity for forgetting to hook 'em up!
