People Like you give Turbo rx7's a bad name!!!!!!!!!
Go back to highschool kid
you need to loose the zits and loose the hood
What does it matter what I run in the quarter? Did I ever say my car was fast, let alone that it was faster than a turbo?

The fact is that you have no argument, and upon realizing that fact you have resorted to flaming. Go back to high school? I am in high school, and the funny thing is that I was able to participate in a relatively mature argument longer than you. What does that say about you? A lot.

You can pry that hood out of my cold, dead hands pal.
Ike

P.S. I'm working on the zit situation, lol.

Now if your NA runs the quarter mile in 14.5 or less then you deserve to flaunt such a hood. But all you NA's that run super slow times and have the turbo II hood you are a gay rice boy.
So the N/A has to run a FASTER time than the Turbo just to be allowed to use the turbo hood. Gotcha.

Hey people, looks like you have to shell out $3000 for an engine rebuild and a streetport like I did if you want to have a T2 hood.

You =

i am still not too sure if the argument is that a TII hood on an N/A is non-functional or if it is that anyone who puts a TII hood on an N/A is automatically pretending to be a turbo just because everyone thinks he is.

either way, this is stupid. i guess if functionality is what makes it non-rice, then all of the TII owners with FMIC's gotta lose their hoods. if what everyone thinks of my car makes it more or less bad ***, i could care less, i will do what i want and enjoy it. my car isnt here for your pleasure.

Making your slow NA look like a T2 is an insult to T2 owners.

T2 hood + NA = Rice

P.S.
I own an NA.

Bringing back threads from the grave eh?

At any rate, the ONLY viable use I see for swapping a hood is for pure weight loss. I recently lifted the hood of a 88 NA w/a chevy 350. Having only lifted aluminum hoods, I noticed a HUGE difference. The guy who's car it was lifted mine and immediately wanted one. What's even more scary, is with all the work the guy had put in to swap in a 350/400T trans he was only running low-mid 14s. Granted that's good for a NA, still waaay off from what a V8 should be running.

1. My "slow" N/A will be able to roast most TII's in stock form.

2. The TII hood provides more better cooling and lighter weight than the stock one, therefore providing ACTUAL PERFORMANCE VALUE to the car which would NOT be rice! I have an aftermarket temp gauge and temps have gone DOWN!

someone please allow these stupid threads to die!
