An NA car with a Turbo II hood is not a dis to turbo owners. I'll tell you what a dis is, a guy with a Turbo II who drives the **** out of it and goes through engines right and left because he can't take care of the dam thing! Believe it or not there are people like that.
Yeah, it sucks that I drive a slow-*** naturally aspirated car. That 787B was slow too huh? They should have turboed that thing too, right?
If I was really concerned with overcompensating for my lack of power I would just go out and buy a Turbo II. They're not all that hard to find, or expensive. Finding one in good shape, that's another story. Just for the record I DO OWN AN NA, and I respect all RX-7s.

U still dont get the point.. Nowone with an n/a would get one to pose as a turbo.. thats why i said that if t11 hoods were on N/As I an vice verca, I woud still put it on mine. Because either way its lighter. Of course I cant find an N/A hood at a junk yard thats aluminum but I have seen a t11 this guy was offering me for 50 bucks... U sound stupid when U keep arguing a point thats been proven already... No Offense.

I think one of you guys should start a group buy on Fake BOV's to go with those hoods, you just don't get the full effect without sound, now everyone will really think it's a turbo, which is the goal of the whole operation, I think I saw some stickers, fake BOV and a fake fmic on ebay, buy that and get the full turbo effect without shelling out for a T2.

Like I said before, if a person was really pretending to be a turbo they would put the Turbo II decals on their car. If all they have is the hood, they are obviously not trying to fake anyone out. Why spend a couple hundred or more on a Turbo II hood and not just buy the $15 decals too? Oh, I know why. BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK THEIR CAR IS A TURBO II!!!!

If the T2 hood is not for N/A's, then why does it fit? Like someone said, if you have a FMIC, then you can't have a T2 hood either because it's non-functional.

so wait, i guess by your definition, if a TII has a FMIC and doesnt want the "aerodynamic brick" on his hood, then he is trying to fool people into thinking he has an N/A. just give up your useless ranting.

My opinion, the best LOOKING 2nd gen was one that was never imported to the states. The T2 Vert.
The biggest shame about a car that was never imported to the US is that the T2 Vert was held back to avoid the Gas Guzzler Federal BS.
Sooo, for the time being I have the look I've wanted. Ultimately, finding the right T2 donor car, I'll have the drivetrane to match.
So, does this mean that in the interim, my car is rice? Give me a break. Not everyone that drive Rex's drive them to race. Some of us drive them because we simple believe in the Wankle and enjoy the car for what it was originally built to be..... a really fun to drive daily driver. (bet that observation gets some flame )
