MD race was just a supplier for Superchips. Try and get in contact with them directly.

If i get a chip I'd like to try out AutoThoritys' chip. But I've heard good things about MDrace and Superchips. As well as Jet Performance.

I got mine for my N/A from Jet Performance and for me it was a very noticeable difference. Gonna cost you some $$$ though, it's not one of those eBay $25 deals. Kinda blows for me now though since I am going T2 conversion, so I will probably get one for that ECU now

i would imagine that these chips mess with both the fuel maps and the timing maps.... but to anyone who has one, could you specify what the chip you bought does... where you got it... and what your car is (s4, s5, turbo or na)

yeah, the link doesnt work for me either... and would there be any real advantage of getting these chips verses an safc and getting it tuned (maybe if they messed with the ignition and stuff, im not sure how much these chips change, anyone have info on this?)

thanks all for the replies
I would like to try the one for MDrace/superchips because of this site
http://rx7.voodoobox.net/howto/chip/chip.html
it sounds like this would work nicely

I might get the Jet chip because I know I can get that one.

By the way has anyone else tried the Borla cat back system I just put it on mine and it seems to have helped with low/mid torque. This is more than likely do to the holes in the old exhaust though. It has a (lack of a better word) manly sound to it.

I have the MDracing chip in my 88 vert. I have the autoX version. I for the record LOVE it. Besides the full exhaust, I think it was the most "seatofthepants" upgrade I've done. If you can get in contact with them I'd definately recommend it, but like you, I can't find the website lately either. Good luck, and about the Borla exhaust. I love the sound the performance and wouldn't trade mine on any other rex I've heard. Just my 2 cents.

I have the auto-X reprogrammed ECU from them also, and I personally count tell that much of a difference. Slight, maybe, but nothing spectacular.
