The question...
After searching for and reading posts regarding MDracing chips, it seems that nobody was confident enough to come out and say, "Yes, it rocks like a ****" or "No, it sucks like a civic".
So my question is, how many of you out there actually own or have owned a MDracing chip? And how do they fare in terms of performance (for its price)?

Chips on most japanese cars by themselves offer little performance advantage over just advancing the timing a little.
The biggest advantage is generally in what you perceive the car to be doing (whether or not that is an actual change).
Chips with an intake/ exhaust/ other mods can sometime yield a small performance gain.
But I don't think that anyone that doesn't work at MDracing has actually dyno'd a car with a chip in it so they can say that it makes a difference one way or another.

I had one. It was well worth the money and I paid $400 (3-4 years ago before there was any real competition).
I've got 2 friends who also bought the chip and both were very satisfied with them.
Maybe this was before threads were rated and archived, but one guy got 11-13 rwhp in a back to back G-tech comparison. It was a very long thread.
