high idle.

high idle.

wat could cause my car to idle at 1500rpm? i have no airpump no acv the o2 sensor for exhasut isnt hooked up, acv is blocked off. no cats.

umm had a question does it always stay that high beacuse it a normal for the car to idle that high when it is not warmed up. but it should come down once the car is warmed up tp about 800-1000 rpm.

even after its warmed up, after the cold start. it idles at 1500 all the time,

First thing I'd do: Check your idle speed screw.

That and check your TPS. and look for vac leaks

And check cruise control cable. Just give it a yank at the solenoid.

my idle speed screw on the bac right? its turned all the way to the right (closed) i was messing with that by turning it left but it didnt help so i turned it all the way back to where it was which was closed tight.
