flood!!

since i've put the headers and straight pipe dam car keeps flooding. did every once in a while before. but now it turns on fine in the morning but when i go to work or drive somewhere and try to turn it on bam flooded. what do you guys suggest?
if i have to wire the fuel pump how do you?

the o2 sensor isnt connected could that cause it to do it?

Just in case you do this...don't. DO NOT step on the accelorater before you start the car. You might know that all ready. You could also have a throttle positioning sensor malfunction. Its allways nice to have one of thoughs. That would be my best bet. Its what was wrong with mine.

well before the headers the car would flood if i didnt tap the gas a little. so i stopped doing that when the header was on, and starts fine in the morning but whenever i go to lunch at work, it always floods. how do you wire the fuel pump? and is it safe to do?

i'm tired of having someone have to come and help me by turning the key while i hold the gas hose. pulling the fuse never works either. is there a fuel pump fuse that can be pulled?

Under the hood, by near the A/C+PS.

Alt, you could install a kill switch for the fuel pump.

you have one o ftwo choices for a switch. You could wire a togle switch to turn the fuel pump on and off, or you could use a 5 prong relay with a momentary switch. Either one will work, but I don't know if this will damage the fuel pump. If you want a diagram send me an email at schexy1@hotmail.com.
