Convertible suspension upgrade

Just found out from Mazdatrix that nobody makes springs for verts...what can I do now? How can I increase the handling characteristics of my vert?

Yeah sucks doesn't it.

I think the TII springs & coilovers will work ok. Definitly want adjustables though to help.

I'm lucky my vert's OEM shocks & springs are stilll working good.

The TII's a different story though (bouncy bouncy bouncy boing).

I ran the Eibach Pros for the Turbo II on my vert and they were great. There was a little more gap in the rear than the front, but the handling (with Tokiko 5 ways) was good.

I autocrossed this set-up for 3 years.

I ran into the same problem of no one having springs for the vert. I went with Racing Beat. Off the car the stock springs were about 2" taller than the new ones. Once on the car I only got a .5" drop. It's a night and day difference with the new springs. From others I have talked to the extra weight of the vert is not that big of difference for springs. I'm also using the KYB adjustable shocks and Suspension Tech sway bars. Car handles like an oversized slot car. Only complaint I have is that speed bumps must be given a little more respect than stock set up.

I bought my Tanabe springs of only $135. I actually won them on Ebay, but the guy selling them was the guy who runs Wheelchoice. I don't think he carries them in stock, but may be able to help you out.
