Angry Air Intake Problems

I Have An 86 Rx-7 Na And I Was Searching For A Thread That Explains A Self Install For The Intake. I Tried Doing It Myself But I Found A Small Complication...the Vacuum Line That Connects To The Air Pump Needs To Be Caped Off Or It Needs A Breather...the Problem Is I Don't Know Where To Find One...can Someone Please Help Me Out?

For now get a green scotchbrite pad and wrap it with a big rubber band or tie-wrap around the air pump intake (or what you're calling the "vac line")...

Get a dedicated air pump filter assy as soon as possible...They're only 10 bucks or so...

You see this?

Go buy this. It's cheap. It'll be labelled 'air breather' or something similar. It'll fit in your hand. It'll fit that hose from the pump perfectly.

Yeah, the breather works find on it. You may need to get another hose clamp, the one that came with my autozone breather was too small for the hose.

when you install a cone filter you need to filter the air going in the airpump too
