hybrid? you mean like a twin system, turbo and supercharged? I don't think theres enoughe room in the engine bay for that kind of setup..
As for upgrading the turbo, the only upgrade is a replacement. Theres tons of places on the net that sell turbo kits/turbos.

Check out http://www.rx7store.net they have the BNR hybrids (you send in your turbo, he upgrades it, ships it back).
