680cc injectors not firing in my s4 t2

My setup is s4t2 high impedence stock RED top 550cc injctors. I want to run 680cc on my 2ndary, so Ican up my boost safely. Gslse injectors are low impedence, my current setuip is high.. I read on the forum that I needed to wire 10 ohm 10 watt sand stone resistors to each secondary injector.

So I wired 10ohm 10 watt sand stone resistors inline to each secondary injector clip, and placed the 680cc gslse to the 2ndary fuel rail.plugged it in, and drove it. The car is hitting a wall at 3500rpm, so Im assuming the gslse injectors arnt firing.
any input on this? If Icant get this setup to work, il just go back to 550 secondarys.. My ecu number is n332, and the engine harness has no resistor box.

Check for 12V at each of the wires and make sure you've first got power. Have these been tested at all prior to use?

before installing the 680cc gslse and resistors, the 550cc injectors setup worked flawless.. Iwanted to have 680 cc secondarys because my car is running alittle bit lean after installing a wideband, and want to make sure it has more fuel to it, and possible safely upping the boost a few pounds...

Also, where did you wire in the resistors at?

Sounds like either a wiring problem or the injectors were not tested prior to installation.

Could also be going stupid rich and bogging, but that usually be temporary. Could be a missed ground when reassembling as well.

the 680cc injectors read 2.7 ohms
the 550 cc injectors read 12.7 ohms

the secondary injector clip with resistor is reading 10.7 ohm...
Im guessing the resistors I used are not strong enough?
I bought them from radioshack and it said 10ohm, 10 watt resistor..
I didnt check the ohms on the injector clip prior to wiring the resistors, should I remvoe the resistor and check the ohms?
anyy input on this?

its could be the injectors are bad too, I dunno the history on the gslse injectors..

I wired the resistors inline of the secondary injector clip. as in the the resistor has two prongs, one prong per wire on each clip..[2 wire per clip]

how many ohms should the secondary clip read for it to work with the gslse injector? is it 1-2 ohms[since the gslse injectors read 1.75 ohm]??
Right now the secondary clips read 9-10 ohms with the resistor on..
what should I be checking for guys?

No, I am talking about the location of the resistor. By the ecu or by the injector. I have 680cc secondary's on my s5. I have mthe radio shack resistors (10 ohms, 10 watts) right by my ecu. It has no problems coming on. (I never tested my injectors either)

Also which wire do you have it on? (Power or ground)

the resistors are right near the injector clips. And its on both sides power and ground. Is that wrong??? maybe thats hwy it isnt working.. I have it one resistor per injector clip, prongs on both sides..

is the resistor only supose to be on one side?????? which one is it supose to be?

Dude... It should not be on both sides of the injector wire. Take it off, and make it back to stock and put the resistor by the ecu. It should only be on ONE wire. I believe it should be the power wire at the ecu.

It should be 1 resistor in each power wire. Which you only need 2.

which ones are the power wires on the ecu? [theres so many wires near the ecu] did u solder it ondirectly on the ecu? or on the engine harness by the ecu?

it can be either wire, but there should be ONE per injector.

okay its wired in on the negative side of the injector clip. its kinda dark outside, would be too loud to test drive and see if the 2ndary fires.. il have to wait til tmrw to find out success or not..
probably take it to adams drift track tmrw night and do some tandems...
