As far as an FMIC goes, corksport makes one for 800+ shipping. I have one personally. You need to take out the bumper support, cut two holes, + trim some metal (that's pretty useless actually.) You also need a smaller battery too.

I spool about 500 RPM later than stock, but the cooling is much MUCH better. Only about 2PSI drop or so. I haven't measured it accurately. But for your application it would be good.

Heres a couple cell phone shots from today. (brought the d5000 but forgot the memory card)

Some relays mounted just beautifully-

And here is a shot of the intake- (he is thinking about making a box for it out of sheet metal with a lid and everything, which would be awesome)

The Optima batteries can be placed in any orientation as well. Mine is just at 18lbs

Quick update- AEM water/meth injection going in w/ 1 gallon tank that is going in one of the compartments behind the seats. Also I don't know if I put this yet but Compressor side of turbo is .70 A/R which from what I have read will give me some good response. And stainless steel braided oil lines.

Very nice setup! Looks like you should be hitting your 300+ horsepwer goals with little to no problems even without the additional injection.

I used the have a PC680 but got rid of it because I got tired of not having enough CCA's. Moved on to Honda battery, still small but has much more CCA to get me started in the winter.

I like the clutch and brake master cylinders caps. Does Mazdatrix sell them to now?

cool build but it would be a lot less annoying to read if you had more than one picture per post

Thanks and

The caps are from Rotary13B1.com. I picked them up at Sevenstock. Mazdatrix might sell them but I don't think so.

somebodys putting in some work.

it would be interesting to know what the cost for this 300whp build would be compared to mine when im done and which lasts longer. i probably would have gone haltech if money wasn't tight. im also am driving my possibly 300hp car for a DD. although i like the car to much, and it will be getting off the DD duty when i rebuild my 88 n/a over the winter.

The car is being built for reliabilty so it should last a while and I take extremely good care of my cars. The oil will be changed every 3-4k miles thats for sure. You don't wanna know the cost, but trust me you spent less by doing it yourself.
