Just a "why not see whats possible" Feeler...its funny so many people get angry at the price. Im like, no one is making you buy it

Although likely that price is far out, if this baby ever sold, id build a 4 Rotor SLC Rapier in a heartbeat!

I wouldn't go far off you're asking price. Glad to see you're actually pricing it at that range to be honest..

^^IMO price is more than fair. Tell those who think it's too high to price out the build, not to mention the time and frustration it takes to pull everything together.

^Price is very fair considering all the money that went into it as you said. People that are bashing you over the price clearly don't understand how long it takes to build something like this correctly.. I am almost 2 years in due to misc. things but I'd kill to have bought one that was correctly done from the start.

Do 20bs seriously get 8-9k now for the engine itself??!?!?

Here I thought when I was finished doing my fd 20b swap it would only be valued around 30k...if you're able to get 50k or close to that maybe I should put more funds into my build to finish it and do the same thing you're doing ahaha.

Anyways. Maybe I missed it, but why are you trying to sell it?

exactly what i was going to say let them build it if they think its cheaper i don't see why our cars with 20b swaps done right can't pull money like a supra would

I think the reason is simply because there is a stereotype for rotary engines.

The stereotype is: "rotary engines are high maintenance and unreliable engines."

Whether we all agree with this stereotype or not, it is what it is.

Being that I own both a 20b and 2jzgte, I personally feel safer with my 2j (as of right now :p).

David im sorry, but i have to let it out here. WHY are you selling your car again? So much effort, so much money, so much time, so much frustration, just to have the car ready and sell it 2-3 months afterwards?

And thats becoming a tendency with most people, go through all the hassle of building to sell right away? I dont get it

Its just a listing / feeler on craigslist to see the market potential. I doubt someone would actually pay $55,000, but if they did so, it would be hard to turn down that price.

For me, the enjoyment is the learning process, the dream, the construction, the ideas, etc. Yes, I'd be happy driving for the next few years or keeping it forever, but maybe someone else could enjoy it just as much, and I could be pushing the envelope into a new build, going bigger, going further, learning more!

The knowledge, the inspirations taken and given, the human interactions are what count. Way more than the car. We'll see...but in the time being, the car is a blast, however the build, and the community is what makes this car drive. The question to be asked...what's next? and when? I have the itch to go further, just for the sake of building. The purpose for me is not in the car, its just simply visualizing and building.

Nice! Piping looks too small for a 20b though (might be restrictive no?).

haha

Yes, its insanely loud, but does include removable baffles. The baffles quiet it down a decent bit and clean up the quality of the sound, less rasp. It sounds comparable to running directly off a resonated mid-pipe.

Yes, the pipes are probably a little restrictive. Its a 3" main pipe into two 4" tips. Could have done a full 3.5" or 4", but ground clearance is a real problem at this ride height, and honestly until there is a stronger transmission there's no real reason for more than 600rwhp

Hey dont be stealing my dream ideas lol .
55k is plenty fair in my opinion. I was thinking 50k for mine but have been told more along the lines of 75k. They are only getting rarer and the prices have to start appreciating some day so why not start now.
