a little off the topic from that thread.

ok so i replaced my master the other day and was about to go for the slave but i couldnt get to it.... is it really that easy? that damn top nut on the master was such a bitch that i didnt even want to begin going at the slave cause i had to go to work in about an hour. did you remove the hose that connects the radiator to the oil cooler(83)? that looks like the way to go. i just didnt have the time to really get into another project. i got a somewhat rebuilt and modded carb in the other day so when i mess with that ill give the slave another go.

its really easy. you can snake your hands around that hose. use a long extension and a 12mm socket. hell, if you have a swivel, that would be great! and its eaiser to break the hose loose at the firewall than it is to break it free while on the car. do not forget to remove the clip that holds the slave cyl line to the bracket.

well mine doesnt really leak at all my master was bad but i figured i would just change them both out... my clutch used to just grab while my pedal was all the way to the floor after holding it down there for like two seconds. it sucked in parking lots and in reverse but it doesnt do that anymore since i changed out the cm. and now i have nice clear fluid

mine did that as well, grabbing while holding to floor. i adjusted it at the pedal. there are two nuts and a stud that can be adjusted. works great. look in the manual, i believe it explains it there.
