IN Newbie with a 1980. Got 2 questions.

First off, I hate whoever owned this car before I did. He rigged a lot of stuff up. Can anyone point me to where I can find illustrated parts lists? I need the driver side headlight bracket that goes on the 2 ball joints. I need a wiring diagram too if possible.

Secondly, this is the one I'm scared of, my hydrolic clutch system ins't working. I've bled everything very well and it's just not building the pressure it needs. I've already ordered a new master cylinder and will probably order a slave. What scares me is I tried to see if I can disengage the clutch by hand right on the transmission. I could only get it to wiggle. It did wiggle a good bit but didn't feel like all the way. Is the clutch something you can disengage by hand at all?

I might be able to post a diagram for you tomorrow on that. Not by hand you are pushing against a pressure plate that hold the clutch disk really tight. You do need a little play there as to not have constant pressure on the clutch. Have you been having to add brake fluid to the clutch master?

After replacing the master cylinder it works perfect! Engages and disengages at the top of the pedal travel. Which is quite different than on my Celica which is all the way to the floor. I'll PM you my email so you can get me that head light diagram.

I've ran into another problem. When accelerating it will bog out at around 3k rpm. Then kick back in at 4k. I'm going to check the fuel filter, pump, lines, and clean the carb up. Maybe do the mechanical secondary mod. I do not believe I have a vacuum leak. I will clean up the rat's nest though.
