Clutch fluid woes and car update.

Hey guys, well....I have been working on my sisters car...for about two weeks.

Thought everything was fine until last night when the clutch fell to the floor. Flushed the clutch twice, to get rid of all the nasty dirty fluid. Put in clean fluid, pumped it and it was back and covered in dirt. There is a wet spot along the fire wall where the master connects, also looks kinda dirty/wet with the slave. Both are rusted to heck and feel that a brand new one would benefit more than anything.

Sooo....Im gonna get a new clutch and slave. The best prices I have found are the steel braids from mazdatrix $18.00 Clutch Master $64.43 and Clutch Slave from RP for $41.40

Best prices I found, anyone know anywhere else to look? I just feel that it is safer to replace it all at once and make sure I am getting something really good. Damn...atleast today was payday.

OH YA!~ Also an Update: Got the 3in TID to work while still mainting emissions! Also, made a CAI box and I am now in love with Aluminum tape! Problem is now that I sometimes hit fuel cut at around 6 in second gear and sometimes at 7 in first. (had to test for fuel cut :-P ) But yea, my sister is gonna be buying a fuel cut defencer and safc. This should all work well with a 35mm ported wastegate, 3in dp to a 3in cat to a 3in exhaust correect?(Those are the future plans) Thanks guys.

EDIT:

Mark out the SAFC, that would be pointless for what she is going to be running. The FCD and wg port will be more than able for any mod that will be on her car.

But yea, for any of youse who has not used Aluminum tape, go out and buy some.....you'll fall in love...well almost ":-P

O'Reillys had the master in stock for $40 and they had it at another store so I got mine that day and put it in.

Just make sure and bleed the system properly...
