Sealed beam conversion

Hey I'm considering converting from my sealed beams to h4 cases you see on eGay all the time. I was going to origionally use the Hella ones, but at $40 a case not including bulbes the $25 eGay specials seem better. The question is who is running them and was it worth the scratch? I don't want to pay money and have a plastic bubblegummed together POS show up that lasts a month, when I could've done it right to begin with. There are about 5 different kinds on there, and I was looking at getting these, but would the projector thing actually do anything? Halo's are gay, and so are city lights, but the all have 'em

I'm thinking #3 or 4 seem to be the best ones... Who knows?

I have the 4th link types on my FB. They are alot brighter than the standard Halogen bulbs that you get for our cars. They look really white as well....i like them! I've had them for about a year now.....

I would check out your Victoria British catalog or Black Dragon. Those look to be your best bets forget those eGay ones!

I just bought the BD Halogen Vision Plus (72-003). Haven't put them in yet. I'll post back with my impressions in about a month.

I have set Number 2 - and have had them for years without problems.
I want to switch to Number 1 - so I can try an HID projector style...

Yes I would be interested in how set #1 works.

I think the best think you can do to increase your new lights brightness or just your old lights is to re-wire the headlights and upgrade you alt.

I tried ebay projectors not to bad for a regular h4 conversion. I wouldent suggest using H.I.D's I tried it out and it seems to have a really bad cut off. I still have H.I.D's but I bought the other h4 kit they sell on ebay and there still blinding but way better than the projectors.

Welp I allready have the VB/BD rewire kit and that made them a lot brighter. I ran Sylvania's top of the line and those were even brighter, but they still suck. So are those /\ the projectors with h4 HID lookalike bulbs? Or did you spend a $400 on real HID's? And by better than the projectors do you mean they're brighter?

The setup on the picture is the regular ebay diamond cut headlights with H.I.D's. I didnt spend as much as you think I did on the H.I.D's and no there not from ebay I got them from http://www.oznium.com/hid Better meaning better cut off. The projectors are straight blinding! People driving in front of you will be very upset lol. Oh and yeah the city lights are gay I took mine off and sealed the hole.

Dude that's awesome! Last I checked (4 years ago) HID conversions were about $2000 I figured they'd dropped but damn $250 sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Fawk I was planning on just geting the cases and getting some PIAA lights, but they're $75 for a pair of bulbs... insane!

I am using these set ups also, no lil blue pissant though, I had the option of using 90/100 watt lights which I took and did Kentetsu's upgrade, **** on the VB ones, his are better and cost less. Total cost was less than $50 and my lights rock.
