I don't think you guys can **** manntis off. theres a reason for him to not kill himself to post pictures. thats what happens when one hires someone else to do the work. he may not have access to be able to take some snap-shots of the progress, or it could be there is not much progress to report . pressuring the guy ? c'mon
now fella's. one thing about this forum is that people
like to get involved in a project and the whole time aren't in a position to buy the product in question.
If payment has been made in full and production of the part is not happening, thats when i would bitch..

thats a quality problem and I wouldnt worry about it from manntis, he is using the metal subframe as previously stated so the latch should hold it as well as it did the stock hood

how come we have them in canada? thats strange...I know winnipeg is a test bed for all sorts of new things (we were the first to get the Mc Flurry, along with other products {pepsi blue ughhhhh}) The b4est i can suguest if you really want to is to use a film camera and get a Kodak picture CD made with your prints...but again this is alot of work...but it would not go un appreciated.

Cause it's the most retarded idea ever...

It'd be the same as a Digital from Wal*Mart that costs like $15... No LCD, No removable memory... Except you can't even replace the batteries...

Cheap *** Argus would probably be about the same price and quality.

At wallymart here, instead of dropping your film in the envelope, just drop a CD full of JPEGs or a memory card in the envelope adn you've got pics... Alternatively, you can just stick it in the kiosk and print em yourself.

Ok listen guys if yo really want to get on his *** do it the right way lol. WALMART CAN PUT YUR PICTURES ONTO CD'S WHEN YOU GET THEM DEVELOPED!!! Ok nowI do admit it is alittle BS because Mantis dude, you have been over there many times and have not taken pictures on a regular camera. Just snap some pics and take it to walmart and have them put on a cd. I really don't care cause it's gonna cost like a gazillion dollars to make.

we're on final wet-sanding and painting the prototype to spot any imperfections before going to mold. The glassman has been taking pics along the way but they're not developed yet. So far only MosesSA22C and I have seen the work, but I promise pics ASAP.

You may or may not know this, that CF (some) come in colours ? blue, red, gold. and marine supplyers cost more moneys ?? just a straight epoxy distributer does cost less. own your own business ?? get it wholesale.
diversified materials co. try'em FYI. you might save a buck or two. great customer service !!.

Oh,,let me add this... don't forget to do test fittings on a car. even though it's an exact copy of the metal hood,
trust me on this, test fit before any finishing sanding FYI.

Yo, chief. now i'm not manntis but his first hood is fibre glass if i'm reading right. talking about painting the prototype (fibre glass) CF would not get any paint same for kevlar. i'm not saying CF and kevlar can not be painted though, they can.

the buck is being painted and clear-coated to highlight any imperfections that'll need to be corrected before we make the master mold. The first hoods available will indeed be fibreglass - the target price for those is $299 USD

I'm still in for that hood, let me know when you get the idea of shipping costs. Also, any more word on that muffler you're supposed to be a distributor for?
