Help!! stock gslse wont start

I bought this gslse and everything has been good until now.
It just will not start cold. I got it to start once and it smoked for about
2 minutes then everything went clear and normal. After you shot it off
it started right up, but now it just will not start.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

There's a section dedicated to getting your car started.

Your car should smoke when it first starts. They all do that. But if it smells very fuel rich, your engine might be flooded. You can find those instructions easily. I had an issues where the car would start hit or miss, and suspected it was the starter. However, it turned out to be the battery cables. I replaced them, and now it starts every time (except for the rare flood).

Replacing battery cables is another section in the FAQ thread. If you follow the instructions, there are plenty of resources to find out what's going on.

These cars are known to have fuel tank problems as well. Do a fuel injection pressure AND volume test. If you have a problem there, there is a tiny in-line strainer at the fuel pump inlet. If it is clogged, you may have to drop and clean your tank. Check for spark and also consider doing a compression check. If everything is good, it could just be flooded. Pull the spark plugs and blow out the compression chambers. You have to ground the coil and disable the EFI system. The coil can be grounded by pulling the "Blue" spade connector on one of the coils. Remove the fusible link that is marked EFI. Turn the motor over for a few short bursts. This will clear out the chambers of any fuel. Clean, dry and then reinstall the spark plugs. Put the spade connector and fusible link back. See if it will start, if not you may have to do this all over again.

Thanks for the help but i can seem to start it but its always flooded when i go to start it. Also a couple days ago i had an oil pan fire going up the sides of the housing where the spark plugs are. It was a very minor fire but i dont know how it happened.

Oil pan fires are pretty rare - are you sure it originated there, as possibly it could be from a loose spark plug which allowed air/fuel mix to exit the plug hole under ignition. Look into that - not something you should figure is a one-time deal and nothing to be concerned about.

Also, any flooding condition will put fuel in your oil system which over time will change your oil viscosity and thin it out. If you know you have a frequent flooding problem - change your oil once you figure out what's causing the excess fuel issue. Good luck,
