Anybody recognize what brand of header this is? Came with some other SA parts. Thanks in advance.

It was used on an early car for sure. Note the two round carbon spots on the flange. So we know it likely fits an early 12A. As far as a brand, I'm not sure. Rotary Engineering made some early stuff but I'm not certain this is their work.

As far as I know, Racing Beat has always cut their initials into the mounting flange. Was hoping that someone might have the same piece who can verify the manufacturer. Could be a R/E part, I'll try doing a little digging in that direction to see what I can find. Thanks.

There is a RE 12a header on epay right now. It has very similar flanges as yours (both ends) but not the 2-into-1 collector piece.

I third the Rotary Engineering- looks identical to mine. The heavy-wall steel should clean up nicely.

I used to have a RE header, looked a like this on. The 2 to one after the 6 bolt dual flange is fabricated by someone else.

Its definitely old and appears to be well made. I agree that the collector is home made.

A side note, a Rotary Engineering header will NOT bolt up to a Racing Beat long primary midpipe without a lot of work.
Thickwall tube is very hard to bend!

IIRC, the 2 middle bolt holes on the outlet flange are offset opposite on RB vs RE, another reason it won't bolt to a RB mid section.
The RE tubes don't turn as sharply as the RB at the inlet.
Here's an NOS RE I sold years ago.

Here's the thread where I made it fit.
