atf

put some atf in my 50$ rx7 1985 to get rid of carbon buildup and it smoked like it was on fire for a few mits and stoped shut it off then whent for a drive and it smoked enough to look bad . it did this the hole time about 30 miles why won't it stop .

keep driving, rev the **** out of it, maybe that will loosen some **** up or burn it out. maybe that atf ate up your already deteriorated oil seals?

have rev the **** out of it all the oil and compression are fine

and its still billowing smoke? if the compression was fine why did you atf it? sounds like oil is getting by the rotor oil seals and burning.

Either that or you're losing coolant. How are the coolant levels? If they are ok, you might try running some SeaFoam through it to clear out the rest of that crap that you put in there. For future reference, use MMO rather than ATF...

was runing like crap and after the atf it ran better and coolant is fine

maybe its due to how much ATF you put in there. i did the atf treatment to my car a while back it would smoke whenever it backfired a few months after. what is MMO? i knw a dumb question, but just so ill know

M.M.O Marvel Mystery Oil. Good stuff. I agree always use MMO over ATF. If you put a fair amount in there then it might just need to burn out. I have seen one that smoked for a good 30mins before.

Good Luck and make sure to check the coolant levels.

It's possible the ATF destroyed your oil o-rings. Just keep driving it and the smoke will eventually clear, hopefully.
