What did you do to your FB today?
You're getting zero compression on both rotors? It's a little surprising that they both would go at the same time. Perhaps a silly question, but you DID have all spark plugs in the engine when doing the test (save for the one that the compression was screwed into)? fm

I'm going to go on RockAuto here and get some parts for the new ride that it needs like:
New slave clutch cylinder
New accelerator pump diaphragm
New fuel filter
Etc, etc
Used the compression tester I borrowed from O'Reilly's.
Can you say ZERO?

werid to go zero on all 6 faces at the same time
compression testing with a piston tester and the schrader valve removed should look something like this

MsDIY, IIRC, only the lower plugs should be out (for plugging your comp tester into). x2 on what 13x states about making sure the compression tester is screwed in all the way, making a good seal. Open carb helps to allow air in. Low battery will yield lower compression results, so make sure your battery has a full charge.

I only tested the leading port on each rotor.
The rear made a little air puff until I got the tester in better, then a zero reading... Thanks for keeping me trying.
Fully charged battery, tester was hard to seat well, and the o-rings looked scored.
I'll borrow one from the other parts store and try the trailing ports.

It's just strange to be getting a zero reading on both rotor's ... my compression tester uses an adapter, I put the adpater into the housing by hand then screw the tester into it, this reduces the change of boogering the threads on the aluminum housing.

Finally got all the grease off the outside of the car from SS (was parked next to huge barbeque, ick).
Sadly, all the brightwork in the engine bay is also grease-spattered. Least I won't run short of things to work on this winter.

I am back from my adventure in the 85 GSL-SE. I have to admit that the suspension although stock is stiffer than I would prefer in a GT type car. The foam padding in the seats is probably breaking down and that didn't help. I have added close to 4000 miles to the odometer over the last 15 days. I met and caravaned from Las Vegas with some of the the Sin City Rotary people to Seven Stock. Motored up the 101 to the Bay area and then headed back home. No problems with the car at all.

Yeah I assume you mean 1point3? He messaged me about that bbk hella long ago too but he never responded. I didn't actually get the bbk, I'm going japanese style and using the second gen spindle up front, and I still have to get my se axles for the rear and mock up some brackets for the back. Was really just waiting on rims so I could do the fronts first anyways.

Yeah the fc spindle on front looks simple enough so the only part that will stop me is the rear caliper bracket. I'm gonna start the front end some time next week so that I can get these rims out of my way :p

I've been unable to do anything with my FB for the past 3 days. All of the floors are getting redone at my place so everything that could had to go out in the garage, effectively banishing my FB outside. While I'm not terribly concerned someone will steal her, I am concerned they'll take the wheels...real JDM wheels are a hot item around here. That's one of the reasons I sold my EG Civic. Tired of worrying about it getting stolen. Anyway, with any luck, these guys will be done this evening and I can pull her back into the garage. I have plans for her after that. Yes, that's right. Plans. MuhaHAHAHAHAHA!

As soon as the freaking sun comes out I'll get some good pics...
Believe it or not, I DO NOT post every little thing I do for Smooth...on the 9th I cleaned the interior of the car. Finally got full range of motion for trailing timing on rotor (oiled it lightly weeks ago… rust history). Got exhaust is less smelly. Got my drivers door electric mirror installed better. Removed old wire jungle from PO's stereo. Found a disconnected wire plug with broken clip. Connected it… NO help to the heater fan. Unplugged it. I installed the sub zero reservior... This may be the killer act. Though I did not know where to connect the line to the carb, I plugged the electric connection thinking (???) "It's not cold enough to activate it, what could be the harm?" The next day she had a starting issue (first time in a long while). I remembered the start assist connect, disconnected it and she was willing to start.
I do think THIS time period could be the beginning of the demise I am suffering.
