Nice way to strip the glam... If I recall, You have had that car for quite a while. Considering the average life expectancy of an American's transportation vehicle, I would venture that, as an OLD girl... hangin' in the garage and suffering repeated surgeries is not too shabby. Did she play a lot in her youth?

Back-to-Black'ed my rubber trim, Polished the lips on my waffles, and did the FSM vacuum-flow-test on my reconstructed carbon canister (passed beautifully).
Once I clean the glass and vaccum/wipe down the interior, I do believe we're ready for some showin' events.

I tossed this on to see how it fits. Not really that interested in it. Don't like the big tip that sticks out futher than an RB powerpulse dual tip set. It'll collect rainwater.
Not too ugly, but meh. Not too sure on the angle either higher or lower; either way could still collect rainwater. I'd rather see a dumpy back there to be honest.
I really hate how it stressed my rubber hangers. It came back out after these picture were taken. Hangers weren't damaged, thankfully.
I'd just have to connect these, but not interested in doing so. And it's too small. It doesn't even fill out the available space under the heat shield. The exhaust is a long primary collected to 2.5" and you know how LOUD those are without a decent muffler. Well you might not, but trust me.
I've got another use for this little 14" long 6" round Magnaflow. Probably the REPU or something.

Wow been a month since updates - too long.
So, between there and here:
On the subwoofer box, I'm still determining best angle/position. If i put the sub behind the passenger, angled slightly upwards and backwards, it creates an AMAZING resonance in the driver's seat, however the passenger seat is super boomy. If i take that same position and angle it inwards so its cross-firing (about 45*), its better for the passenger and slightly less good for the driver. I'm thinking that dead center angled back might be the optimum, but still playing around with options.
I took some photos of the power window relay install, i'm re-doing the write-up which is a) no longer online and b) rambled on and on about totally irrelevant things, and didnt actually explain what the circuit was doing.

Then i finally finished the fender trim shave:
apparently its time to clean the tail lights.... didnt anticipate that but hey when you're on a roll...
So, between there and here:
- messed with timing
- soldered / redrilled dellorto jets to lean it out a bit. better but still not there.
- new windshield installed
- AEM Wideband O2 sensor, EGT, dual gauge pod installed
- introduced new stereo whine by installing said gauges.
- still haven't built my subwoofer box.

Last night's progress, phase 2 of tail light cleanup. Hair dryer to melt the glue that was still stuck, and ever so gently pulled off the lenses.
And this is as far as I got, masking off the outer lenses for a fresh blast of black.
I'll probably throw on the polished S5 alternator here this weekend, and start cleaning up the driver's side engine bay to get ready for the power steering pump to go back on. As much of a pain in the *** it is, I want to put the cooling line in. I might have to remove a bunch of stuff - it wraps around everything. I may look into an aftermarket PS cooler...

Today I finally weighed and even adjusted corner weight a tad as well, and I am very pleasantly surprised According to the scales
-car weighs 2280 lbs w/o driver and 1/2 tank of gas (but has full interior minus spare tire)
-Front/Rear weight distribution is 51/49% w/ me in car
-Left/Right weight distribution is 53/47% w/ me in car

Since my Riken Mesh have found a new home (enjoy em leknaw69) ..
I just purchased my newest restoration project, and the wheels I think Ive settled on for my car... SSR EXC mesh! Coming all the way from Dubai!

I just don't have the time or money to do the work necessary to make her road worthy again, hopefully someone will be interested in a summer project.

Just got rear-ended at a stop light headed to one of the vacation homes that I manage.
