Finally did a compression test on the 6-port 13B going into my FB sometime this year. Very pleased with 120 comp on both rotors. I suspect the RPM was higher than 250 because those numbers look high. I could tell it was a healthy engine by manually cranking it, but d@mn! Happy about that!

yeah, thats 400... I got impatient, and I wanted to call it a night.

I might do a number on it and swap it out before DGRR.

Trying to decode what to do with the body and the rust issues. Drivers door is rotting out at the bottom and has a stress crack by the window above the door handle. Sunroof area is the worst, with the hinge? area starting to bubble with rust. Not so sure what to do there. Other than that, haven't done much but drive it. Got my horn wiring figured out finally. Needs new shocks ASAP, also deciding what I want to do with the interior. Dash is ruined, as is my drivers seat. All of the mechanicals are pretty well sorted, but the appearance keeps getting sadder and sadder. It's hard to do anything though when this is my dd. Almost tempted to do a re-shell. This was an east coast car for most of its life, so I get the feeling that rust is really going to catch up to it at some point.

Check out the illuminated center panel I have been working on.

Look it up on a different thread "Illuminated rear center panel - finished!"

The area's you see rust expect underneath to be about 3 times larger.

From the ouside this hole was about the size of my fore finger...

I don't think that is nylon. But it is a little far gone for boiling to work even if it is.

That is SLICK. i dig it.

This weekend I finally hooked up the AEM UEGO wideband O2 sensor - and apparently, EVEN THOUGH i'm smelling unburnt fuel all the time, i am running extremely lean. *sigh* Metallic_rock got the idle mixture so its pulling strong vacuum, however the rest of the tune is whacked. As I dont think you can just swing by an auto parts store and grab some Dellorto fuel jets, we gave up.

I wanted to get the carb dialed in so I could have a solid baseline to compare / contrast the EFI, but at this point I'm just going to shelf the sucker and install the EFI.

Final components for EFI should be arriving this afternoon!!!! Will post pics. I will have some shiny things to show off, too! DD, 13x and Qindao, i'm joining the club

In other news - Metallic_rock knew exactly how to solve the slop in my steering box - which i thought was a result of previous owner removing the PS pump and leaving the PS box. Nope! Turns out there's a slop adjust screw on the box, just like on the non-PS column. That steering is TIGHT now! car still runs like **** tho.

Bought a new shift **** today, or should I say ordered one.

This one, to be precise:

Was tired of my mega-heavy RE Amemiya one.

If anyone is curious, I have an S5 shifter

drove the 7 for the first time in months, installed my roll center adjusters and "new" rear springs, and got my speedometer working again (cable popped off the back of the cluster)... but now, the turn signals & emergency flasher have apparently stopped working...but only when the engine is running

Just pulled my car out of the barn today.fired up pretty quick took it up and down the drive way. Tomorrow I'm gonna rewire the a relay for the oreily fuel pump and see I've that clears up my starvation issue at the top of third. If not, the Holley blue is going on.

I recently yanked out the entire fuel system of my turbo -se....got tired of the aeromotive pump, so i let a forum member design and build an intank sump/swirl pot with a bosh 044. This in turn feeds 2 external (2nd pump optional, but mandatory for what i'm planning..) 044's...it's all going in this week. It's all -8 AN lines. Looking forward to running this system. Keep an eye out for an entire build thread with pics. What this guy built will be a product to have for our forgotten, but loved first gens!!

Tell me Tokico was OEM.

Poked a hole on rear speaker with a wrench, like rice paper.

Put the rear brake link joint on the SE rear axle that's awaiting transplantation into my FB. Light work night.
