Yep; sorry, I thought I put the name in there. Long day, yesterday.
Not in the picture: there is also a rubber flapper valve in the (removed) upper part, which had essentially turned itself to goo & glued itself closed. I suspect that it may be made of an example of some of the older non-ethanol-compatible rubbers.
Cali uses up to 10% ethanol in all winter-formula gas, and frankly I suspect it may be the cause of some parts deterioration I've seen in original rubber bits.

Rarest parts I have are my car, and 3 glass sunroofs. I dont even have a metal sunroof for my car, I got it with a glass one installed, haha. I havent paid more than $20 for any of my glass roofs though, thats gotta be worth something. One came from the car, which was free from the junk yard, another from a car IN the junk yard for $12.50, and the third I bought for $20 when a guy left a business card under my wiper at a hardware store with his number saying he had one from his old car he wanted to sell.

Well I understood the value of that. I thought someone was saying the red one is rare. When I think rare, I think I can sell
Got a set of rear mudflaps for my FC, got them sold for 80 bucks!

maybe Old School early 70s/late 60s Mazda badge? tough to gauge size since nothing to show scale.
Never seen anything like this State-side on early rotaries... Maybe NSU origin?

I have one about the same condition and then i have one that is very similar but NOS. They are fender badges for rx3s JDM from the first couple of years.
Ah ok cool.
Cheers for the info.
I'll see if I can find a pic of what they looked like new. I've seen one with a orange background and one with a blue background in new condition on Ausrotary.

Here's a picture of the one with the "blue " background, I got the photo off Ausrotary when someone posted a picture up of their/this badge.
Looks VERY FARKIN NICE!!!!!!!!
I have also seen a photo of the same badge with an "orange" background.
Each of these badges are approx 3 inches high and wide.
Wish mine looked like this! :O(
