My 12A

1983, just had roof resprayed and some welding done on the sills and chassis (constant damp weather plays havoc!)

There's only one person in the world who would have the audacity to put ford and gm parts in a pristine SA or FB Tim, and it's not me.

the car was made in November 1978 so I can say it is a SA22C just sayin. and yes she is a monster. Even after the swap I cant get rid of the fuel smell from inside so nothing changed ther. it weighs exactly the same as it did before the swap. the handling is 10000x better than before. When I put the wide body kit on there and paint it itll look a ton better too.

Fuel smell is gonna eminate from the seems in the welds where the japanese fella's who made the body gooberd up seleant. Then the car got soaked in vaporized oil for 20+ years... give it another 20 years to air out.

I don't know about weighing the same...
