Dang, this thread has so many gorgeous examples. Feeling like my field dwelling SA doesn't really fit in :/
Regardless, here's a couple photos (I'll have to make another post once I get some nicer shots).

Well thank you for the warming comments .
The car actually came with a mix of waffles and X's. As of now I have 11 or so X's and only three waffles (and I'm short on waffle lug bolts as well). Eventually I'd like to pick up a couple more waffles to complete my set, but realistically I'll probably get some 15x7's before that happens for the more plentiful rubber options. Waffles would probably be saved for cruises.
The bones are indeed pretty solid, although the interior leaked a bit (and still does, although now to a lesser degree) so the sunroof, cowl, hood, and a couple spots near the trunk will need some repairs. Goals are to do a full rebuild down the road, but that's down the road quite a ways yet. For now focus is on making it more pleasant to drive and a bit quicker on its feet. Cosmetics will come later. And is it actually a somewhat rare color? I wasn't aware of that. Neat. For the $100 bucks I paid for it I'm definitely content.
Haha, thank you.

All great cars. I have to get this one in as well then. My SA as it appeared in the ZoomZoom 2016 edition:

Mine looks a little less... whole than y'all's, but it's in the service of making it look great. Eventually.
I stripped everything out of the engine bay, added some threaded inserts to mount stuff rather than sheet-metal screws, and then cleaned and sanded the wee out of it all. then I painted it before it got too chilly to do so (after working on it for 2 years...)
Now I can clean and paint the suspension, then start putting the engine bay back together.
edit: also had to do some rust repair in the cowl under those reinforcements just forward of the door opening. That's part of what took so long.

It's slow, but going the direction I want! If I had a shop, or even room in the garage, it might go a little faster. Being out in the driveway makes me subject to ALL the weather. I'm in North Texas, so just cold enough to be annoying in the winter, and hot enough to be *really* annoying in the summer, with rain randomly year 'round. Or not, as the case may be.
I wanted to get the engine bay cleaned up while the popped engine was out, which of course escalated into stripping everything out so I could paint. While I was in there I fitted a bunch of GSL-SE stuff (mounting points for the air box, AC lines, the GSL-SE steering column, and ECU mounts in the interior.) Now the plan is to get the engine and suspension back in, get that running, and work on the interior. Dash needs some help (cracks, as usual) and the front suspension will need to be rebuilt - the polyurethane bushings went to poop in the last decade.
Of course, I'm still debating swapping to an FC front crossmember and suspension...
