79 SA Full ReSpeed suspension and rack kit
S5 Turbo II motor Stock rebuild
S5 Turbo Tranny (shortened for SA)
plans are:
720cc Primary - 1200cc Secondary
No Emission anything
Power FC with commander - S6 adapter to S5 harness
Inline fuel injection pump
BNR stage 3
Shooting for 300-325
Anyone running a Power FC?

Dark blue one is what im shooting for with my setup. What ECU are you running? SA correct.....im about to drop my S5 TII in my SA. I have a Dellorto 48 and thought about boosting with carb but thinking now to just go FI with a power fc.

Fixin too get ma turbo on this guy:

It has a P-Port 12A, Holly 650. Going small single turbo, only going to run around 3psi to lean it out. Got the smallest jets on the carb and it is still running rich as hell. Just going straight to the carb, not running an intercooler, for now.
Long term plans are to go higher psi once I work this out.

Hi, im running an '85 s3 with s5 turbo motor, dowelled and turbo extended port, hi-flow turbo, external gate, large fmic, bosch 044, 800cc/1600cc, 3" exhaust. dynoed 240rwkw (about 330rwhp?)@20psi
Its a hoot to drive and everything but ive had it for quite a few years in this form and its time to go BB turbo.
Im looking at gaining both response and top end over the modded standard s5/to4 hybrid im currently using.
I dont know much about turbos, but ive been told the gt35r are the one to get?
They seem to come in a variety of inlet designs and cover sizes.
Can someone please point me in the right direction of a turbo design that is proven for good response and descent top end so ican start getting some prices and parts together?

I'm gonna be starting a swap. 1985 GSL with a 12a installed. I have a 91 TII motor and tranny sitting next to the car with a full harness from the donor car. I'm still trying to figure out the parts list and configurations I wanna go with. I agree that you can do this swap on a budget, but doing it right is gonna keep the wife from booking our vacation to Mexico for a few months! I see close to $4000.00 for mod, excluding the car and motor cost.
