WOW.. can't believe I never saw this thread.
I have been turbo for about a year now. Funny thing is
...
I drove it 2K miles and torn it down to return it back to FI.
THEN.... I bought a 3rd Gen 6 months ago and she has been kinda on the back burner.....
GOOD news is........ that I have been working on her for the past few weeks and all I have left is to wire up the Microtech and then take her for tuning.......
Hopefully by months end

S2 Elcrtronic Dizzy,
Microtech MT4,
S5 Turbo,
Front mount IC,
Need to get bigger fuel pump an injectors ...

what was going to just be a aurora white '79 parts car for my '79 Limited is now stripped and in the process of being turned into a Beautiful black , 79 with an S5 TII.

Just completed turbo swap (with the help of KDR Rotary):
S4 aggressive street port engine
BNR Stage 4 with a 14lb actuator
Microtech LT8
FMIC
Crap loads of custom work, etc...
Still being tuned. Last car done with a similiar setup but no porting at around 12 psi was 371hp at the wheels. Car is getting dyno tuned this week so I will let you know.

i have a friend that is well known up and down the east coast for building rotary engines. i went to get some headers and came out with one of his arkay turbo kits for my 12a. maybe when i start building my 13b i will get one of the superchargers.

1990 S5 Turbo II, stock intake/exhaust ports, S5 turbo rotors, solid corner seals, BNR hybrid, GSL-SE front cover, FD greddy elbow/throttle body/upper intake, S5 T2 bad **** lower intake, Blitz SS bov, FD pullys, FD alternator, 9LB sr flywheel, hd pressure plate, 6 puck sprung, Turbo II transmission, ect ect ect
Feels great to see what can be done with your own hands and with buddys help

Anyone help belong to the Yaho group names TurboFB? I've found it to be a really good resource. Not much action --- until a question comes up! The depth and quality of responses are great.
my swap
Starting the swap on mine now. Going with S5 Turbo motor and trans. Gonna run NA to break in motor and clutch. Then plan to go mega squirt FI and shoot for around 300 rwhp.
