That is an Excellent Kit!! Great Score!!
You need to post pictures of the kit, layed out, even before
installation.

Thanks Alex! I am really excited about the kit. The neat thing is that the kit is designed for the SE. It uses the stock ECU and only about 7 lbs of boost, and will still deliver about 275 hp. It's a great design for performance and reliability from Corky Bell.

That's a good idea about some pics.. I think I'll start a thread with the details, blow by blow. Stay tuned!

Just wondering... It doesn't seem like there are to many 12aturbo first gen's round, what motors did your first gens get released with??
My car has a 12aT in it. Any other fellaz on here with a 12aT or are all of you 13b/T boys??

Talking

Hi im about to get my 12 either bridge or p ported, also looking into a turbo, for now this is what i have, dont know how to accumulate how much hp w/o a dyno, but nyway here it is,

Holley 750cfm d/p, Holley bluetag fuel pump, 13b custom "old school" headers, header runs str8 back to a racingbeat muffler, ported mani larger then racing beat, electric fan (not in pic), posi rear end, f3 stage 6puck clutch, nomore airpump of course, and a rebuilt oil pump.

Also, doesnt matter much but heh, black whale tail (1 piece), rear louvers, alpine stereo and chrome window trim.

Really looking into turbo for that extra push, since im getting it all ported im also changing the oil pump, getting a higher rpm fan, and fatter tires, mine spin a bit to much. So if anyone knows a shop, or a place i can order certain parts or a good overview on exactly what i need extra for my car to be a 12at id appreciate it.

AFAIK I am. I may decide to pick up a spare good running -SE block for a 4port idea I have. I am sure when I get the bridge up and ready and broken in, we can have a few highway runs

And the hardest decision for me right now is Ceramic or Steel Apex's. I can do one or the other, but the cost difference is astounding.

I'll be building an SE 13b turbo in the near future. I've been gathering parts (mostly suspension here lately) and just waiting to get some time off to install them. I've had some advice and help on the subject since 1) this is my first rotary build, 2) this is my first turbo build, and 3) this is my first venture into the aftermarket EFI FMS. I've gotten some sound advice from a few guys that know what they're doing, so I should expect around 300HP and hopefully 250+lb-ft, Haltech-injected when she's put together. I'm trying to keep her on a diet too, at around 2400lbs with the look of a full interior and all necessary safety equipment. I want her to handle too, so I'm shooting for a perfectly balanced suspension with 17" Motegi Traklites wrapped in BFG's. It should be the perfect ride for me, and the perfect second car for my son (he's only 7 now, so I've got over 8 years before I have to give her up)...

This is my 1984 gsl with a 1989 street ported 13b converted to carb. It has an edelbrock carb blow through sealed. T3/T4 turbo front mount intercooler. It has a 40mm Trust external wastegate and a sard r2d2 blow off valve. The car ran a 14 flat at the track non turbo with traction issues. Turbo will be done tomorrow with pictures posted.

You buy the scoop, and you mount it on your hood. I believe CP racing use to sell the kit. Lots of 1st gen owners use these scoops.
