I'm in the process, almost finished. Just need to do the turbo oil feed/return lines and put on the new furl pump and pressure regulator. Then I get to finally drive it

That's awesome coldy13!

When I win the lottery is when I build my turbo FB...... oops I don't play the lottery. I always thought of the lottery as tax on stupidity.

I'm going with a stock S4 TII with S5 turbo. Hoping by the end of the year to be installed and running.

This week getting the front cover drilled out for a 5/8 straight thread to -10 flare fitting for the turbo oil drain.

Got a WRX hood scoop yesterday, gonna look a lot better than the offset TII hood scoop.

Engine going in for a Kevin Landers rebuild soon.

Still collecting lots of parts and new stuff.

Still waiting for them dam gauge pods to be made up.

Can't wait for the extra power--yea.

Scott

Tust me, if I can afford to put a turbo on my 12a, anyone can afford it. I make $6/hr, and work 10-20hrs a week. If you can do the labor yourself, it doesn't really cost much. My setup is easily under $1000.

yeah but the problem is the cost is never what you think its going to be and it allways takes way longer than you thought. I didnt even go turbo and it took me allmost 8 months to do my 13b swap.

The real problem is you start looking at things like, "well the engine is out anyway, I might as well get a centerforce clutch in there too", etc.

That $1000 is including a Dual Friction 6puck clutch with racing pressure plate I have nothing left to buy, just finishing up and waiting for a couple parts to come that have already been ordered.

I'm with you on the time thing, I havn't had my car together all summer. Luckily I've had another car to drive, but it sucks not having my 7 running.

Mine was stolen, and I wanted a 13BT, so I might as well drop one in since I need a new engine now anyway, so I guess you could say that Im in the process.

I'm considering tinkering with a turbo set-up of some sort. I wouldn't take out my motor though. It's just too low of milage and running to good to toss for another one, so I would rather work with this one, having 15k miles on it and all....
