A half hour with a box knife, and a dremel with a cutoff wheel. Now all the urethane bushings are on the front control arms. Rest should be a piece of cake. Not a hundred percent shure on how I'm supose to do the tie rods and ball joints, but they cant be as tuff as the bushing that had to be cut off.

Installed The control arms that I put the poly bushings on, swapped out the ball joint and tie rod boots. Installed new bearings. Now I just have to get some time to do the rear. Waiting for my DTSS Eliminators before I tear into it. Rather not do it twice. just more work the first time. But I found that poly busings are worth the price, both my ball joints, and tie rods where cracked and worn out. didn't survive the removal. So the 123 shipped for all the bushings is cheaper than new tie rods and ball joints for both sides.

Also Results are my girlfriend got sick on the ride home, success.

Not really something I did, but my poor RX got dumped on by a f'ing pigeon or goose or something while I was driving. Right on the f'ing windsheild! Of course I didnt' try the wipers because that would have just smeared it all across the windshield... and I have no washer fluid...

I wanted to stop and kill that son of a... bird.

Got the drive shaft back in, all the plumping is done, a little wiring work to do still oil change and manipulate some exhaust parts so I can throw that all back on. Then I should be starting her up. Hoping things turn out good. I really want to drive this car. lol.

Met 2 great guys through 2 diff craigslist ads. Picked up 2 sets of tail lights, radio bezel, blinker/wiper controls, and steering column trim for $100 total. Going to mod up one of the tail lights with clear lenses and colored led's, keep a spare, and finally replace the broken bezel.

Also changed out the oil with royal purple.

Opened up my first 13b. My cosmo engine needs a rebuild. Rotors cleaned, rebuild part list made. Waiting for the paycheck to buy the parts and put the engine back in my vw bug and see how she runs. Lots of carbon in there :p

found some plugs for these. the hatch plug popped right in. The Firewall one needed to be trimmed a little because this hole is more of an oval. I think it came out alright. I'll find a bolt with a big washer or grommet to cover the mounting holes.
